Libraries in Catawba County

Catawba County has an extensive library system.  It is governed by a seven member board. There are 249,000 print and non print items in the collection, with an additional 18,000 added each year. The service population is 111,000, and there are 78,000 registered users.  The value of the collection exceeds $5.7 million, and there are 96 public internet stations.  The system has 35 full time employees, and there are many programs offered throughout the year. The library system has seven branches. Information about Hickory City Libraries can be found here.
