You Can Get There From Here

The region is centrally located midway between Florida and New York, within a day’s drive of 60% of the US population. We are also less than one hour’s drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and 5 hours from the North and South Carolina beaches. For air travelers, our area is only 45 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and has its own regional airport. Both airports are supported by the  Hickory Hop , a shuttle service that transports passengers between the HIckory and Charlotte airports several times a day.

Our county is also well-connected by several major highways. Interstate 40 runs east to west through the county. US Highways 70 and 321 also intersect the area. State Highways 10, 16, 18, 127, and 150 are also easily accessible throughout the area and Interstates 77, 85 and 26 are all within an 1.5 hour drive.
